- Solana Beach -

Solana Beach is a warm and welcoming beach community that is nestled between the affluence of the La Jolla and Del Mar area and the laid back come as you are feel of the North County beaches. The result: One of the most charming beaches and towns in all of southern california. Solana Beach San Diego

One of the most relaxing places in the world. The blend of high class and so-cal laid back does wonders. Whether you are looking to build a family, retire, vacation, or just visit this could be a great place for you.

Certainly some of the best things to do for vacationers is simply laying out at the beach, going on a walk down a nature trail, or having a night out at one of the excellent restaurants. Just take a drive down PCH and take your pick from among the many great choices. Personally, I usually end up at the Pizza Port for some of their great so-cal style pizza.

Fletcher park at the cove near the surf spot "pillbox" is a new addition to the beautiful coastal ambiance. There is much to be discovered locally but if the small town feel has you antsy, grab a ride at the Solana Beach Trolley stop. From the trolley you can check out one of the great restaurants in San Diego or take a look at all the other greatthings to do in San Diego.

For surf, there are some local breaks including pillboxes but overall I recommend going to blacks or ponto if you are in this area. If surfing is your thing then check out the surfing guide.

Just a quick job south will take you to the Del Mar race tracks and all of the beauty and affluence of La Jolla. Solana beach is about as central as it comes, but take a look at the other great beaches.
