In the end, its up to you. Their are so many styles of pizza and everyone has their favorite, but we will lead you to whats right for you. A great all around pizza place is pizza port. The pies are amazing and they are also known for their excellent craft beers. The vibe is social and up-beat with long wooden tables and pitchers to go around. They also have a number of healthier pizza combinations. Check them out in one of their beach locations: Ocean Beach, Solana Beach, Carlsbad and San Clemente.

Bronx pizza is a New York style crust with many great topping combinations that are available by the slice or order out pizza and pick up at their window. They are located on washington street in Hillcrest, San Diego. The building has a classic New York feel and is a fun place for friends.

A Great Chicago Deep Dish style pizza in San Diego is Lefty's pizza. They have locations in North park and Mission Hills. Careful, they are closed on mondays!

For a nicer dining experience, there are two really great options that I highly recommend. Sammy's wood-fired pizza and Pizza Nova are both higher end pizza places. You are paying for the quality and the atmosphere but the food is great and definitely has a classier feel. I recommend checking out some of Sammy's amazing appetizers (their hummus is fantastic) and my favorite pizza nova pizza is the gorgonzola pear pizza. If you go to Pizza Nova just be careful not to fill up on all those complimentary garlic bread balls!

Last but not least is the true Italian Pizza. And where else would you go for Italian Pizza than the little Italy District.
